The new limited edition designs pay homage to 30 wonderful years of gaming, a journey made possible by the passion and support of our fans and talented game developers. Reminiscent of the very first PlayStation console to launch on December 3, 1994, this limited edition offering utilizes the original PlayStation color design and integrates it into the latest line of PS5 hardware products.
PS5 Pro: Enhanced Power, Speed, and 4K Performance
The PlayStation 5 Pro (PS5 Pro) was officially announced by Sony on September 10, 2024, featuring three major upgrades: a 45% faster GPU, PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) for image upscaling, and twice the ray tracing performance of the original PS5. It supports 4K at 60 FPS, ships with a 2 TB SSD, and includes Wi-Fi 7 and 8K output, but lacks an optical disc drive and vertical stand, which are sold separately. 50 games are expected to be optimized for the Pro by its launch. Development began as early as September 2023.
Xbox Series X: Power, Speed, and Next-Gen Performance
The Xbox Series X was released in November 2020 and is known for its powerful hardware, featuring a 12 teraflop GPU and custom AMD Zen 2 processor with RDNA 2 architecture. This enables 4K gaming at 60 FPS and up to 120 FPS in select titles, along with ray tracing for realistic lighting. The console includes 1 TB of SSD storage for fast load times and supports expandable storage. It is backward compatible with thousands of Xbox games and offers the Quick Resume feature, allowing players to switch between games seamlessly. The Series X includes a 4K Blu-ray drive, Wi-Fi 6, and supports 8K output as well as Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision for enhanced audio and visuals. Xbox Game Pass integrates deeply, offering access to a vast library of games, including new releases.
Xbox Series S: Compact, Affordable, and Next-Gen Gaming
The Xbox Series S, launched alongside the Series X in November 2020, offers next-gen gaming at a more affordable price point. It features a custom AMD Zen 2 processor with RDNA 2 architecture and delivers 1440p gaming at up to 120 FPS, with support for upscaling to 4K. The console includes 512 GB of SSD storage for fast load times and uses Xbox Velocity Architecture to optimize performance. Though it lacks a disc drive, the Series S provides full access to Xbox Game Pass, offering a vast library of games. The console also supports ray tracing for enhanced visual fidelity and is backward compatible with thousands of Xbox titles. With its compact design and Quick Resume feature, the Xbox Series S provides a next-gen experience in a smaller, more accessible package, making it ideal for digital gamers.

The Nintendo Switch, released in March 2017, is a hybrid console that seamlessly transitions between home and portable gaming. It features a custom NVIDIA Tegra processor, delivering smooth performance in both handheld and docked modes.
